Role: Senior Developer – SAP ABAP /HANA /FIORI

Responsibilities:

Strong SAP technical and business area knowledge in SAP ABAP /FIORI/UI5/S4HANA experience in consulting with 2 E2E full life cycle implementation. (One should be a S/4 HANA Implementation)

Experience in ERP with emphasis on S4 and ABAP/4, Implementation, Enhancement, Postproduction Support, Maintenance and Upgrade projects in variegated Industrial environments. Designs components using appropriate modelling techniques following agreed architectures, design standards, patterns.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strong skills of programming tools and techniques such as Report & Transaction creation, Enhancements, Conversion Programs, Adobe forms and Smart Forms, Screen Painter BDC, LSMW, User Exits, Menu Exits, Function Exit, Screen Exit, ALV Reports, Dialog Programming, Data Dictionary, RFC, ABAP Query, ALE/IDOC, BAPI, BADI and Application of OSS notes.
• Hands On experience in the following technical areas: SAP Fiori, UI5, Cloud Connectors, OData/Gateway programming, Security, Fiori Launchpad on Portal configuration, XS OData Services.
• Experience with all common UI5 controls and exposure to build custom UI5 controls is a must.
• Experience in JSON/XML/OData and REST based Web Service based integrations.
• Working experience in ABAP OO, CDS and AMDP Views, HANA Modelling, OData services new or modification
• Configuration and Installation of Fiori Apps on HANA database.
• Launchpad, Roles and Authorization for Custom Fiori Apps.
• Extension of standard Fiori Apps by using SAP Web IDE and eclipse.
• Good knowledge on JavaScript /Form calc
• Functional exposure to SAP Solutions MM, SD, FICO, SCM, PP.
• ABAP Debugging techniques and Performance analysis.
• Problem solving skills, eager to never stop learning, strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong customer-oriented attitude, co-ordination and collaboration skills needed to work in cross-cultural teams and geographies.

Requirements:

• Desired Experience Range – 5-15 Years with SAP external certification if possible.
• Responsible for gathering documentation, implementation, testing of their assigned area functionality and coordinating all applicable areas of functional overlap
• Understanding of SAP ABAP HANA programming languages or relevant skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Project-Specific Requirements:

• Responsible for design, development, testing and support of complex components of project module. Design, develop, Change/extend Core ABAP Programs, FIORI Apps, SAP Gateway, RICEF objects and related OData.
• Redesign procedures to suggest best business practices in concert with SAP functionality
• Worked on problems of relatively complex scope, through general usage of standard programming concepts and principles.
• Self-motivated, team player, quick learner and willing to go beyond expectations to deliver beautiful and great quality products.
• Planning, organizing, and controlling entire stream in project. Responsible for communication, including status reporting, risk management, escalation of issues that cannot be resolved in the team
• Making sure the project is delivered in budget, Task executed on schedule, and within scope. Strong organizational skills as well as strong analytical problem-solving skills.
• Evaluate, propose and suggest actions and alternatives for any functional or technical aspects related to the scope of this Project.
• Fully utilize and adhere with client supplied tools and templates such as Service Now, Charm, HPALM or any other defect/Incident management tool.
• Work with standard SAP delivered tools to resolve issues such as SAP OSS notes, support packs, etc.
• Provide varied status updates (Daily, Weekly and Monthly) to management
