Job Responsibilities and Attributes: 

• Staying up to date on all policy decisions and local regulations affecting any potential carbon projects in the pipeline 

• Engaging community, local, state, and federal institutions to garner support for large-scale projects 

• Conducting feasibility studies and due diligence to determine the viability of solar energy carbon projects 

• Developing and managing carbon project budgets, objectives, schedules, and deliverables 

• Coordinating with engineers to ensure the design and procurement of necessary equipment and materials 

• Managing external and internal relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers, legal, finance, procurement, installation, and maintenance teams 

• Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards including Verra, Cercarbono 

• Developing and maintaining project documentation including Project Design Document and Monitoring Reports. 

• Preparation of ex-ante and ex-post calculation sheet. 

• Performing project risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies 

• Providing regular project updates to stakeholders  

 
Competencies 

• Experience in accomplishing change management strategies and are comfortable with communication/marketing tools to foster the required change. 

• Highly developed inter-personal, negotiation and teamwork skills, and a networking aptitude. 

• Excellent English writing and communication skills. 

• Ability to work in complex, multi-stake-holder project environments. 

• Specific experience in institutional capacity assessment of renewables especially solar projects is required. 

• Demonstrated experience in collaborating across projects. 

• Understanding of global sustainability markets and voluntary carbon markets. 

Educational Qualification 

• MTech/MSc in electrical, energy, mechanical. 

• Bachelor’s in electrical with relevant experience are also eligible to apply. 

• Knowledge of IPCCC, Verra, ACM0002 and Paris Agreement. 

• Familiarity with GHG estimation calculations 

Experience 

• Only 3-5 years of experience in relevant field, are encouraged to apply. 

• Field travel up to 20% is part of job profile.
