Educational Qualification: 

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in software engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related discipline. 

Role Overview: 

As a Senior Test Automation Engineer – Telecom, you will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced automation frameworks and testing strategies for telecom systems, including 4G, 5G, and next-generation network technologies. 

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, DevOps, and network engineering teams, to ensure high-quality delivery of telecom solutions. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Robot Framework 

• Develop automated test cases for telecom systems including 4G/5G network components, protocols, and interfaces 

• Perform end-to-end testing of telecom applications, including core network and integration layers 

• Collaborate with development, QA, and network teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve defects 

• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines  

• Perform API testing and validate backend systems and telecom workflows  

• Analyze logs, network traces, and system performance metrics  

• Drive automation strategy and mentor junior team members  

• Ensure compliance with testing standards and telecom protocols 

Required Skills: 

• Strong experience in Robot Framework automation  

• Solid understanding of telecom technologies (4G LTE, 5G NR, network architecture, and protocols)  

• Proficiency in Python for automation scripting  

• Experience in API testing and automation  

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, etc.)  

• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills  

• Ability to work independently and lead automation initiatives 

Preferred Skills (Added Advantage): 

• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Docker containers  

• Experience in API automation (using Python requests or similar tools)  

• Experience in UI automation (using Selenium or similar frameworks)
