Summary:

As a Senior Software Tester, you will be part of the QA team responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software solutions across telecom systems (4G, 5G, Wi-Fi) and related applications.

You will focus on test planning, execution, defect management, and automation, ensuring high-quality delivery. The role involves close collaboration with development and project teams while maintaining strong ownership of testing activities.

The role is based in Bengaluru / Remote / Hybrid, with potential travel depending on project requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test strategies for software and telecom applications.

Perform manual testing (functional, regression, system, and integration testing).

Assist in the verification and validation of telecom software tools and systems.

Identify, log, track, and manage defects using standard defect management tools.

Learn and support DevOps practices and contribute to automation scripting (Python/Java).

Prepare test reports, documentation, and daily/weekly status updates.

Mentor junior testers and ensure adherence to QA processes.

Technical/Functional Competencies:

Basic knowledge of Python, Java, or similar programming/scripting languages.

Familiarity with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).

Understanding of IP networks and telecom infrastructure.

Strong communication, writing, and documentation skills.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate in diverse teams.
