Role Overview

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and research-driven Content Writer – Climate Solutions (Technical) to develop high-quality content across climate, sustainability, and carbon market domains.

• The role involves creating insightful and engaging content on topics such as carbon credits, nature-based solutions, sustainable agriculture, and climate technologies. The Content Writer will work closely with internal teams to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives suitable for diverse audiences including corporates, policymakers, and stakeholders.

• This role is critical in strengthening the organisation’s thought leadership, supporting business development, and effectively communicating climate impact initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsibilities specific to climate solutions and sustainability content:

• Content Development – Create high-quality content including articles, blogs, reports, case studies, website content, and social media posts related to climate solutions.

• Technical Writing – Translate complex climate concepts (carbon markets, GHG accounting, agroforestry, AWD, etc.) into clear and engaging content.

• Research & Insights – Conduct in-depth research on climate policies, carbon standards, and emerging sustainability trends.

• Content Strategy Support – Assist in planning and executing content calendars aligned with organisational goals.

• Editing & Proofreading – Review and refine content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency in tone.

• Stakeholder Collaboration – Work with internal teams (projects, marketing, partnerships) to gather inputs and develop relevant content.

• Thought Leadership – Contribute to whitepapers, LinkedIn articles, and opinion pieces to position the organisation as a climate solutions leader.

• SEO & Digital Content – Optimise content for digital platforms, ensuring visibility and engagement.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with attention to detail

• Ability to understand and simplify technical climate and sustainability concepts

• Familiarity with carbon markets, ESG frameworks, or climate technologies is an added advantage

• Experience in content writing for sustainability, environment, or corporate communication

• Strong research and analytical skills

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote setup

• Proficiency in SEO writing and digital content tools is a plus
