Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced S4 HANA Version Upgrade Project Manager. The consultant will be responsible for delivering end-to-end activities for the project by leveraging a Test Manager and a team of functional and technical consultants and reporting into Client Project Manager based in USA.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare: Leverage the reports provided by SAP AG (like Simplification Items-checks, Custom code checks, SAP Readiness check, SAP Fiori Upgrade Impact Analysis) to coordinate & review impact analysis with SAP Functional & technical team members, OI Architects from COE to identify ‘risk’ areas. Identify OI stakeholders for establishing governance cadence and Steerco for the upgrade project. Build detailed project plan, resource plan, and align toll/gate review criteria with OI leadership.
• Realize: Manage overall project execution (technical upgrade & code remediations), manage risks and issues, ensure toll/gate-based health checks are conducted, prepare cutover plan, liaison with other partner teams (Avalara, OpenText, SAP AG) for issue resolution, publish weekly status reports.
• Deploy: Prepare detailed cutover plan and ensure its execution including liaising with OI Onshore PM
• Hypercare: Oversee hyper care and transition/KT to AMS/Oldcastle support teams Build KT plan, conduct KT as per plan. Publish the KT progress report.
• Primary owner to manage TCS scope of work delivered by a combination of onshore consultants and offshore consultants
• Collaborate with TCS internal, customer and external cross functional stakeholders and teams
• Status reporting

MUST HAVE Requirements:

• Project Management experience in delivering at least 2 S/4 HANA Version Upgrade projects using ACTIVATE, Cloud ALM and a mix of onshore – offshore model
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills
