Role Overview

The Oracle EPM Consultant will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting enterprise performance management solutions using Oracle Essbase and Oracle EPM Cloud. The role requires strong hands-on technical expertise combined with functional understanding of business reporting and analytics requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Essbase BSO and ASO cubes
• Translate business reporting and analytical requirements into robust multidimensional models
• Develop and optimize Calc Scripts, MDX queries, and data load rules
• Perform performance tuning, aggregation design, and calculation optimization
• Manage security models, partitions, and data integrations
• Integrate Essbase solutions with Oracle EPM Cloud and external source systems
• Support ad-hoc analysis, dashboards, and management reporting
• Troubleshoot and resolve data, performance, and calculation issues
• Support system upgrades, migrations, and continuous enhancements
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical teams

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in Essbase multidimensional modeling
• In-depth understanding of Essbase architecture (BSO and ASO)
• Proven expertise in Calc Scripts and MDX
• Experience in data integration, analysis, and performance tuning
• Solid understanding of business analysis and financial/reporting concepts
• Working experience with Oracle EPM Cloud
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in enterprise-scale EPM implementations
• Exposure to end-to-end EPM lifecycle (design, build, deploy, support)
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
